Mental Health performanceThe Concerned Kids’ education curriculum uses a non-threatening medium of interactive puppetry to introduce a number of sensitive topics to elementary school aged children and community organizations all over the city of Toronto and the surrounding GTA.  We empower young people through the creative medium of puppetry. In order to stay relevant with what students face on a day-to-day basis, The Concerned Kids has adjusted its programming to better align to the realities of School Curriculums.

The Concerned Kids now has a total of 22 scripts categorized under the following headings: MENTAL HEALTH; ANTI-BULLYING (Junior & Intermediate); CYBERBULLYING (Senior); SAFETY LESSONS (342 Safety Lessons: Stranger Danger, Area Codes and Emergency Plans); LIFE LESSONS (Practicing Good Manners, Dental Hygiene, Hand Washing); PERSONAL SAFETY (physical, sexual, emotional and neglect); PEER PRESSURE & SUBSTANCE ABUSE; COMMUNITY AWARENESS (Vandalism & Graffiti Prevention); HEALTHY KIDS (exercise, nutrition, and healthy minds) and PHYSICAL DIFFERENCES (Cerebral Palsy and Impaired Vision – about two friends going to camp).  Some of our new scripts will be implemented in 2017.
