Mental Health performanceThe Concerned Kids’ education curriculum uses a non-threatening medium of interactive puppetry to introduce a number of sensitive topics to elementary school aged children and community organizations all over the city of Toronto and the surrounding GTA.  We empower young people through the creative medium of puppetry. In order to stay relevant with what students face on a day-to-day basis, The Concerned Kids has adjusted its programming to better align to the realities of School Curriculums.

The Concerned Kids now has about 22 scripts categorized under the following headings: MENTAL HEALTH; BULLYING PREVENTION (Junior & Intermediate); CYBERBULLYING (Senior); SAFETY LESSONS (Stranger Danger / Getting Lost / Calling 911); UNDERSTANDING CONSENT (promoting healthy relationships / respecting personal boundaries); PEER PRESSURE & SUBSTANCE ABUSE; VANDALISM & GRAFFITI PREVENTION; HEALTHY KIDS (exercise / nutrition / healthy minds) and ACCEPTING DIFFERENCES (physical / developmental / understanding autism spectrum disorder).
