The Concerned Kids is a non-profit organization that educates children through interactive puppetry presentations. We present shows to children from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6.
Our programs explore social issues that are faced by children and are of concern to them. Bullying, School Safety, Multiculturalism, Diversity, Gangs, Violence, Prejudice and Substance Abuse are among the issues we deal with
The Concerned Kids shows are available in the Greater Toronto Area. We present at the public and separate school boards as well as at private schools. We are also available to community groups.

Puppetry is an excellent medium to reach young people because the participants are not threatened, as they might be by an adult. They relate with the life size puppets and it is easier for them to absorb the information, knowledge and life skills that they are presented with. The puppets present incidents from their own lives with a big dash of humour, this helps to draw the children into the shows. In today’s digital world the students are mesmerized to see real people manipulating a puppet and not just another screen.
